Insults, Lies And The Dirty Little Secrets Of The Fitness Industry

Yes, you read that right. This wellness/fitness space that I am privileged to be a part of is unfortunately full of snake oil salesmen and companies that really don't give a flying F bomb about your health. As far as they are concerned your health and size mean nothing, the only thing that is important to them is the size of your wallet and they will make sure your wallet is the only thing that truly gets slimmer.

Let's start with this jackhole Brandon Carter, I screen shot what he had to say, I didn't want to get anything wrong as I brake it down.

Let's start with the opening statement, he is going to tell us how to lose 10 to 20 pounds in just two weeks, got that, two weeks. Ok drop down to paragraph 4 where it starts out that sometimes he got lucky to have two weeks but that is enough. YET he's going to teach you how to drop that weight when this muscle head himself said two weeks isn't enough, LIE 1. Now he goes on to say that most people reading this are too soft, and this program is only for Badass Warriors. If your not a Badass Warrior then stop reading. Ok tough guy, shaming your readers and making them feel worthless is a great way to get clients (the sad thing is it works far too often.) Can I just say if any narcissistic person out there truly believes they are a Badass Warrior they don't need this idiot anyway. All he is trying to do is use reverse psychology to make you feel so bad about yourself that you buy into his BS and buy his program. Sadly companies use this tactic far too often. All I can say is read everything above and see if it doesn't piss you off too. This guy is built like a brick shit house and I'm sure he knows a thing or two about fitness, but what he isn't going to tell you is what measures he actually took to look like this (supplements, diet, Hormone replacement, possibly steroids), and how many of his pictures are edited and photoshopped. Yes believe it or not these people know all the tricks of the sales trade. I would bet money his body wasn't built by the training plan and diet he is trying to sell you. Needless to say I'm not nearly Badass or stupid enough to buy this program. Unlike this bozo I will never shame you, there is no judgement here at Dropping The F Bomb.

Ok moving on to our next scum sucking weasel Brittany Dawn. Let me throw up after I throw up, the video so you can see for yourself why I'm trying to keep you from people like this.

I think some of the comments under this video say what I feel better than I ever could.

This chick is a psychopath, she's has zero empathy for all the people she rips off and is only concerned about herself. Youtube needs to do something about people using their outlet to scam people out of money. This channel needs to be taken down.

Do I need to add more? This gal plus the guy above give this business a bad name. Unlike Brit Dropping The F Bomb will never lie to you or scam you and will be more than happy to return your money if you are not satisfied. Remember I will always be honest and tell you what you need to hear like it or not.

On to our third piece of trash, a lady who actually identifies herself as The Fat Sex Therapist.

Would you like to know what The Fat Sex Therapist has to say? If you weren't pissed off enough at the two above wait until you here this.

Here is what this piece of trash, better known as Sonalee Rashatwarhad to say. " I truly believe that a child cannot consent to being on a diet the same way a child cannot consent to sex." Seriously? She goes on to compare putting a child on a diet equivalent to rape. Really Sonalee, your comparing a diet to rape, what the hell is wrong with you? The child didn't consent to becoming a fat ass either, so what is wrong with trying to save their lives and make them healthy.

She then goes on to say "We should be critical of the use of science and the production of knowledge to continue promoting this idea that certain bodies are fit, able and desirable", of which she is neither, I'm not fat shaming, but it's a fact if you are as big as she is you are neither fit or able. It's a know fact that NO you really can't be healthy at any size. She then goes on to say "Is it my fatness that causes my high blood pressure (I would have to say unless it's genetics then yes), or is it my experience of weight stigma." Honestly, she is trying to pawn off her high blood pressure on the fact that people think she's fat? No ma'am you have high blood pressure because you are unhealthy and you eat unhealthy. Try the elimination diet for a moth Sonalee, I bet your blood pressure gets better. Then she said "the science that states that obesity is unhealthy "fatphobic" science it is often actually eugenic science and eugenic science is Nazi science." She actually is comparing wellness/fitness coaches like me to Nazis. I hate to tell her like it or not obesity is unhealthy. There is something seriously wrong with this lady. Would you go to her for advice sexual or otherwise? Dropping The F Bomb will always tell it to you straight, no pussy footing, no beating around the bush, no completely dumb, idiotic statements.

Moving on from the individuals, let's take a look at the so called fitness companies that are being sued for false advertising. Some of these companies have made millions off of the unsuspecting masses. Scam artists that pray on the uninformed. The first one is Sensa.

What's the first thing you notice? "Lose up to 30 pounds without dieting." No matter what these companies tell you calories in and calories out is the only way to lose weight. You can take any drug in the world but if you are taking in more calories than your burning you will gain weight.

As part of a 46.5 million dollar settlement CEO Adam Goldenberg and creator Dr. Alan Hirsch were ordered to pay 26.5 million to plaintiffs. The powder came in 12 flavors and claimed to be able to make you feel full so you eat less. It was sold by Costco, GNC and the Home Shopping Network. A months supply cost $59.00 ($4.00 more a month than my top membership price), plus shipping. Some people were paid $1,000 to $5,000 and given trips to LA to endorse the product, those people have no integrity.

Really Carmen, that's your secret? It's not your personal trainers and personal chefs. You have looked like this long before HCG was on the market. I wonder how much she was paid for this ad? This company was ordered to pay a cool mil and asked to stop selling their product which cost anywhere from $60 to $149. It claimed you could lose up to and over 50 pounds and was sold at places like GNC (I'll never go in there again) and Walgreens.

This product was supposedly made from human placenta and if you placed a drop under your tongue and stuck to a very low calorie diet you could lose 7 pounds in 7 days. Remember what I said about calories in and calories out? Anyone who sticks to what they say will lose weight without human placenta under their tongue.

This next one is hysterical, caffeine infused underwear.

This company had to pay out $230,000.00 for claiming there infused undies would take care of your unsightly cellulite and reduce your thigh size. These babies cost between $44 and $85 spendolas. Sold at only the finest retailers like Macy's, Sack's, Bloomingdale's and Lord and Taylor's.

The last one I'm going to touch on in (the list is just too long) this blog is 'The Double Shot Pills" The Blue Pills burn fat and the Red Pills Block Calories."

Me thinks someone watched the Matrix one too many times. The claim is "These capsules give you a 1, 2 punch against fat. You could lose up to 30 pounds off of a months supply. "Substantial, permanent weight loss without diet or exercise." Here is another phrase you need to watch out for. Weight loss without diet or exercise (calories in calories out, there is no other way.) Oh by the way a months supply is $79 and they settled for $500,000.

Ok fam that's as far as I'm going to take it before my blood boils over or I get high blood pressure from the lack of integrity, so that’s a wrap for this week.
